Learning about Parenting (LAP) provides overburdened families many family-centered services. These services are designed to assist with the family's life challenges and promote strong and healthy families. This is done through home visitation and family visits to EPU.
Services are based on the unique needs of each child and family and are guided by an Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP).
Each family and child in the Infant Family Program at EPU has a Program Coordinator. The Program Coordinator is the primary contact person working closest to the family and child to make sure all the goals of the IFSP are met.
Services are based on the individual needs of the families and the goals and objectives of the Family Service Plan (FSP). This plan can be developed by the family, an EPU staff member, or any other person or agency the family wishes to be involved.
