Marion Karian
Executive Director
Marion Karian founded EPU in 1976 in response to the requests of parents she was working with at Valley Medical Center who had given birth to children with Down Syndrome and other medical and developmental risk factors. She is a registered nurse and holds a Master of Science Degree in Maternal and Child Nursing from UCLA.
Suzanne Ellis
Chief Financial Officer
Suzanne Ellis has been with since 2001. She has over 25 years of accounting management experience in the nonprofit and heath care industries as well as several years in public accounting. She has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Accounting from CSU Fresno, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Kathleen Price
Development Director
Kathleen Price joined EPU in 2011 bringing a unique combination of fundraising, marketing and business development skills to the Children’s Center. Kathleen has had fund development roles with the Economic Development Corporation and The Fresno Metropolitan Museum. Prior to her work in community development, Kathleen had a long term career in business development for AT&T.
Sheri Villane
Director, Human Resources
Sheri Villane joined EPU in October 2012. She brings a 30 year history in Human Resources Management, providing leadership in diverse industries including manufacturing and production, medical, education, and retail environments.
Randy Osuna
Director of Data and Evaluation
Dr. Osuna is a clinical psychologist with many years of experience doing therapeutic work with the populations that EPU serves. He began his work at EPU in 2005 as a clinical psychologist. He now serves as the Director of Data and Evaluation.
Barbara Swan
Program Manager Assessment Center for Children
Barbara Swan has over 25 years of experience in managing children’s service delivery and advocacy programs and regional collaboration. She received Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Public Administration degrees from CSU Fresno.
Cindy Lopez
Program Manager Early Intervention Services
Cindy Lopez has worked at EPU since 2001 as program manager for the play and grow and infant family programs. Cindy has her Masters in early childhood education; she is the Touchpoints Community Level Trainer, a Certified Infant Massage Instructor and a Reflective Practice Facilitator Mentor.
Cindy Stoops
Program Manager Learning About Parenting
Cindy Stoops has been with EPU since 1997. She has worked with children and families in many capacities; foster parent to special needs children, Early Childhood Specialist, and now managing a program for families whose children are at risk for neglect and abuse.
Dr. Daryl Hitchcock
Clinical Director Assessment Center for Children
Dr. Hitchcock is a licensed psychologist, a registered play therapist & supervisor, and is endorsed as an Infant-Family and Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist & Reflective Practice Facilitator Mentor. He has extensive experience providing direct services and assessment with young children and families and is a co-developer of the Marschak Interaction Method Rating System.
Reva Guimont
Program Manager Family Resource Center
Reva Guimont has worked at EPU since 1999 and is the Program Manager for the Family Resource Center. Reva is the parent of a daughter with Hydrocephalus and Autism. She has successfully advocated not only for her own daughter, but for the children and families of EPU for medical care, Individual Educational Plans with the school districts and Regional Center support in Fresno County.
