EPU is currently recruiting to fill the following position:  

 

Children's Services Assistant

Position Purpose:
​​The Children’s Services Assistant (CSA) works as a member of the Assessment Center team providing children and their families the support necessary to attend Center appointments and obtain referred to services. Responsibilities include transporting children and their families to the Center for services; providing childcare to the referred child and their siblings at the Center; and providing support and back up to Center clerical staff and the team.  The position requires the individual to work with other CSAs as a team in order to provide the above services.        

Job Requirements:
Education:  AA degree (BA/BS desirable). 
 
Experience:  2+ experience working with young children with developmental, social/emotional and/or behavioral challenges and their families.

  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have valid California Driver's license and good driving record with no serious violations for the previous two-year period and be able to provide proof of current automobile liability insurance.
  • Must hold or be able to obtain a class B driver’s license within 4 months of hire.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Hmong preferred.
  • Must be computer literate and familiar working with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Personal Qualifications:  Must have warmth and sensitivity to the issues facing children and families with special needs. Must be able to work with a minimum of supervision.  Must be personable and be able to work well in a team environment, be organized, and take pride in producing a high quality product. 



Data Management Assistant

Position Purpose:
The Data Management Assistant is responsible for providing assistance to the Program Manager and other administrative staff in managing data and preparing reports; supporting all other program staff in the collection of data; and entering all program data.  

Job Requirements:
Eduction:  
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.  Two years of college, technical or other formal training preferred.

Experience:  Two years’ experience with databases and managing process for collecting data and entry of data to include use of Excel and or other data management software.   

Personal Qualifications:   Must have warmth and sensitivity to the issues facing children and families with special needs. Must be able to work independently with minimum direction and supervision.  Must be personable and be able to work well in a team environment, be highly organized, detail oriented, and take pride in producing a high quality product.  

Special Qualifications:  

  • Must be proficient in Word, Excel, Microsoft Office, Windows, and Outlook and have advanced knowledge of data management programs. 
  • Must be able to work as part of team in implementing new and existing systems to promote both quality and efficiency. 
  • Must be proficient in developing and implementing quality assurance practices. 
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality. 
  • Must possess excellent filing and organizational skills. 
  • Must be able to type a minimum of 45 net WPM. 
  • Must have valid California Driver's license and good driving record with no serious violations for the previous two-year period and be able to provide proof of current automobile liability insurance.              

The Data Management Assistant position is a full-time, regular position. 
EPU facility is opened Monday – Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
